Aaron Carter
Owner / Artistic Director
Aaron Carter is a native of Bulloch County, GA. He currently is a resident of Springfield, GA and has been for the past 2 years. Aaron has 15 years of dance experience and choreography. He trained under the direction of Shay T. Morgan of Statesboro, GA. He has been trained in classical ballet, tap, jazz and modern dance. He has performed in many shows including The Wizard of Oz, Angelina Ballerina, Alice in Wonderland, The Little Mermaid, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan, Moana, Aladdin, Heaven’s Child, The Nutcracker, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and Faith in Motion performing as the lead role in the majority of these productions.
In 2018, Aaron Carter and his dance partner, Diana Ray of East Georgia Regional Medical Center won Bulloch County’s Dancing with the Statesboro Stars People’s Choice. They performed a ballet number featuring Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” from the movie “Titanic”.
Aaron has also performed a role in “Dracula: Ballet with a Bite” presented by Columbia City Ballet. He also has attended a dance intensive program for one month with Atlanta Ballet. He has also taken classes from the Russian Ballet Instructor, Valerie Lantratov. Aaron also took classes from miss America 1995 Heather McCollum Whitestone.
Kristen DeBlock
Instructor
Kristen DeBlock is a former New York/New Jersey based dancer. She has trained in classical ballet, jazz, and modern dance. She studied at several dance studios including The Joffrey Ballet School, Classic Ballet School, Irene Fokine School of Ballet, and Performing Arts Academy where she trained for 18 years. During her dance career she performed in the Classic Ballet’s ensemble of “The Magic Wand” and “Carnival of the Animals.” She was a member of the competitive dance team for 13 years at the Performing Arts Academy where she won “Jr. Miss Dance of the United States”, multiple scholarships, awards and accolades. She advanced her career by taking classes at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway in NYC. Kristen was also a member of her High School Dance Team for 4 years, becoming a national finalist in the Varsity Jazz Finals. She was a key instructor at Dance Arts Academy where she taught all ages and levels for several years. After graduation she attended Hofstra University and graduated with a B.A.in Management from the Zarb School of Business. Kristen recently relocated to the Savannah area and is looking forward to joining the staff at Studio Extreme.
